Hey  folks,

I know there’s been problems with the store lately, and for a long time Erika assumed it was a compatibility issue with Firefox. She assumed, because she is a weak, hairless humanoid with no brains who would freeze to death after one night in the forest.

Anyway, I’ve been on the case and it turns out she didn’t install the store platform correctly on the website, so I’ll be fixing that later today. I have to do it while my supervisor at the mortgage firm isn’t looking (what?! You think shit in the forest is free? There’s a black market in that bitch more brutal than a prison, so don’t judge me for having a 9-to-5). So it may not happen till later tonight when I can get back to the hollowed-out log where I live and hop on my MacBook. At any rate, I’ll let you know on the website and on our Facebook page (and by default, Twitter) when it’s fully functional.

Thanks for your patience in not tearing Erika limb from limb and eating her tender innards. It’s tempting, trust me, I know.

Hey guys! Sorry, I forgot that because Issue two is more than 50% bigger and better (that’s right!), the printing costs have increased. As a result, I have had to raise the price of Issue 2 to $3.00.

If you have already bought your issue, don’t worry, I won’t charge you extra! You get an ‘early bird special.’ Thanks for your understanding! 

Issue #2 deadline for submissions is at midnight tonight! That’s Pacific Standard Time for all you slackers in the Mountainous and Easterly regions. If you really want to cut it down to the wire you can email it in before I wake up tomorrow and it will totally count. When do I wake up? You’ll never know. I’m like a ninja in that way. The deadline for issue two is looming on the horizon! I’ve had a lot of really awesome vegan artists tell me they’re interested in pulling something together for issue two, including issue one contributor Kelly McClellan, who is going to collaborate with her awesome sister Megan McClellan, just like they used to do on their super-rad The Sisters Vegan blog!
